Her education is hairdresser and teacher for young children. She also has studied art in school of art “Myndlistarskóla Kópavogs” since 2000, in water and oil painting. She also is educated in Master class –with the artist Bjarna Sigurbjörnssyni (tilraunastofu) in Reykjavik  in the year 2007 

Sigrún has been shoving her work in showrooms few times and also with other artists in Reykjavík Heilsuverndarhúsinu in Barónstíg on the night “ menningarnótt” 18. august ´07 with 16 other artists from the Master class.
